Maha'ulepu cliffs maandag 19 mei
Tara en haar man Ken, onze buren, hadden ons uitgenodigd voor een wandeling langs de oceaan in het zuiden van Kauai. In de "nieuwe" 4 wheel drive truck van Ken reden we over onverharde wegen naar een schitterende plek: de Maha'ulepu cliffs. Dit is een plek waar weinig tot geen toeristen komen. De locals komen hier ontspannen, wandelen en vissen. De korte wandeling liep langs de kust met buitengewoon, magnifieke en daverende waterpartijen tegen rotsen en op stranden.
Onderweg liepen we met onze eigen intentie een labyrint. De energie van liefde op deze plek was overduidelijk aanwezig. Als een heilige plek waar je werd omarmd en omgeven door liefde. Die prachtige omgeving met zuivere lucht en de zee reinigde onze ziel, alsof we werden herboren.
Kauai het eiland met zoveel uitzonderlijke en indrukwekkende natuur. In deze tropische temperatuur en de zwoele afkoelende wind voelden wij ons zeker thuis.
Dit was onze laatste ontdekkingstocht, op 20 mei hebben we afscheid genomen van Kauai.

Maha'ulepu cliffs monday may 19
Tara and her husband Ken, our neighbors, had invited us for an hike along the ocean in southern Kauai. In Ken's "new" 4 wheel drive truck, we drove along dirt roads to a beautiful spot: the Maha'ulepu cliffs. This is a place where you will find little to no tourists. The locals come here to relax, hike and fish. The short hike followed the coast with extraordinary, magnificent and thunderous waters against rocks and on beaches.
Along the way, we walked a labyrinth with our own intention. The energy of love in this place was abundantly present. Like a sacred place where you were embraced and surrounded by love. That beautiful environment with pure air and the sea cleansed our souls, as if we were reborn.
Kauai the island with so much exceptional and impressive nature. In this tropical temperature and the gentle cooling breeze, we certainly felt at home.
This was our last exploration. On May 20, we said goodbye to Kauai.
