Hike naar de Waterval Mørkridsdalen

Het is heerlijk weer. De zon schijnt vriendelijk op onze tocht naar de waterval. We klimmen direct stijl omhoog in het uitgestrekt bos. Het is stil tussen de bomen. Je hoort alleen onze voetstappen van de ene kei op de andere. De boomstammetjes langs het pad bieden goede hulp als houvast. Het is opmerkelijk hoe snel we hoog komen. Af en toe staan we even stil en kijken om ons heen. Na een uur klimmen horen we het bruisende geluid van de waterval. Die raast naar beneden en mondt uit in een rivier richting het dorp. Het is weer een fantastisch spektakel. Het brullende water en de rust van de natuur verstillen en verzachten ons. Magnifiek.

Hike to the waterfall Mørkridsdalen

The weather is lovely. The sun shines gently as we make our way to the waterfall. We immediately begin climbing upward through the vast forest. It’s quiet among the trees. All you can hear are our footsteps as we move from one boulder to the next. The small tree trunks along the path provide a good handhold. It’s remarkable how quickly we gain elevation. Every now and then, we pause for a moment and look around. After an hour of hiking, we hear the roaring sound of the waterfall. It rushes down and flows into a river heading toward the village. Another fantastic spectacle. The roaring water and the tranquility of nature calm and soothe us. Magnificent.
